If you want to configure the advanced settings of a scoring model, including the number of years required since the company issued the IPO, the tolerance for low scores and missing data of companies, the green score threshold, and the red score threshold, please do this sequence:

Click on the Scoring menu, choose your model, click on the Configure tab, scroll down, and click the Advanced Settings:

The Advanced Settings page should be displayed. Now you can configure the required values.

Required years since IPO

The minimum number of years required since a company went public.

If a company has been a public company for fewer years than the value specified in this field, it will be placed at the end of your company's ranking list regardless of its scores. This applies to screener results as well. To turn off this field, set the value to 0.

This field is especially useful for Metric Value in range (Chart based), which is based on metric historical values. If the available historical values of a company are small, then the results of this rule type may not be significant. In other words, it is hard to determine the high/low value when only the historical data of half a year or one year is available. To avoid this problem, you can use this option to filter out all companies with a history of data shorter than two years, for example.

Tolerance for Low Scores & Missing Data

Should the companies with low scores and/or missing data be included in your ranking/list of the best stocks?

Allows to filter out companies based on the total number of rules with a score under 40% or missing data. More rules with low scores/missing data will be allowed if a higher tolerance is selected.

On the other hand, if the threshold is exceeded, the company will be placed at the end of the ranking. This applies to screener results as well. Select Full for this field to not reject companies based on this factor.

This field is helpful when you want to avoid companies with very little data. As the ranking is based on percentages, it is often hard to differentiate between a total score of 70% (= 70/100 points) and a total score of 70% (=7/10 points). This confusion might be a result of a lot of missing data. This option helps you to filter out such companies, so they do not distort your results.

Green / Red Score Threshold

If a Rule/Category/Company score is equal to or is greater than this value, the scoring badge will appear green. If a Rule/Category/Company score is equal to or is lesser than this value, the scoring badge will appear red.

It's a useful setting to help you quickly understand which of the displayed companies fulfill your criteria.
