My Portfolios

Sync your brokerage account and enter your holdings to track, analyze, manage, and rebalance your investments.

Updated over a week ago

Scrab's Portfolios offers an all-around toolset to track, analyze, monitor, and manage your investments effectively.

With simple integration with brokerage accounts, you can sync your holdings while leveraging any of your scoring models to guide buy/sell decisions and rebalancing strategies.

Portfolio Types

Scrab provides you with two types of Portfolios:

When deciding between Classic and Monitoring-Only Portfolios in Scrab, it’s essential to understand their unique benefits and limitations.

The Classic Portfolio offers comprehensive tracking, enabling you to input specific stock holdings, share quantities, and purchase prices, thus facilitating detailed profit calculations and rebalancing assistance. This option is ideal for active portfolio management, but its setup and ongoing maintenance can be complex and time-consuming.

Conversely, the Monitoring-Only Portfolio provides a simpler setup by allowing you to add company tickers without detailed input. It focuses on basic performance monitoring and early warning signals using predefined metrics. This option is perfect for those who want to maintain a watchlist without extensive tracking. However, it lacks the detailed functionality and insight provided by the Classic Portfolio.

Classic portfolios are Scrab's default portfolio, but you can always change between them at any time through portfolio settings.

Creating Your Portfolio

Navigate to the Portfolios section within the left navigation pane and click the +New Portfolio button.

Once the Portfolio initial settings window appears, type in a Portfolio Name and select the Base Scoring Model you'd like Scrab to use to score any stocks within your portfolio.

Click, Create New Portfolio.

If you'd like to change your new portfolio to monitoring-only, click Settings, and under General, click the Monitoring-only option and then Save.

You should now see a similar view to the one below. Note that there aren't any companies listed yet to add. To do so, connect to your brokerage account or manually add your holdings.
